What is ttt?

ttt (Tell The Truth) is an anonymous voting app for high school students. Vote on fun polls about your classmates, send anonymous voice memos, and receive compliments from your peers.

How old do I need to be to use ttt?

You must be between 13 and 18 years old to use ttt. If you are under the age of legal majority in your area, you need your parent or guardian's permission.

Is the app really anonymous?

Yes. When you vote or send a voice memo, the recipient does not know who sent it unless they use coins to reveal the sender. Voice memos are also pitch-shifted to disguise your voice.

How do coins work?

You earn coins by voting in polls and sending voice memos. You can spend coins to reveal who voted for you. Inviting friends who sign up also earns you bonus coins.

What is voice moderation?

Every voice memo is reviewed by AI moderation before delivery. Messages containing bullying, threats, hate speech, or explicit content are automatically blocked and never reach the recipient.

How do I delete my account?

To request account deletion, email us at support@thebeats.app with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request and remove all associated data within 30 days.

Why do you need access to my contacts?

Contact access is entirely optional. If granted, it helps us connect you with classmates who are already on ttt. We never read, store, or share your contacts directly — only encrypted hashes are used for matching.

ttt is built with safety at its core. Here's how we keep the community positive:

AI Voice Moderation — Every voice memo is analyzed by AI before delivery. Harmful content is blocked automatically.
Positive-Only Polls — Poll questions are designed to be compliments and positive affirmations about classmates.
Age Verification — Users must be 13–18 years old. Ages outside this range are restricted from using the app.
Anonymous by Design — Real voices are never exposed. All voice memos are pitch-shifted and filtered before delivery.
Report Abuse — If you encounter any concerning behavior, email support@thebeats.app immediately.

Your Data & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's a summary of our practices:

No data selling — We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Minimal data collection — We only collect what's needed to run the app.
Voice memos deleted — After AI moderation and delivery, voice data is removed.
Location used once — Location is only used to suggest your nearest school, then discarded.
Optional contacts — Contact sync is your choice, and data is encrypted on-device.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request deletion, send an email to support@thebeats.app with the subject line "Delete My Account".

Upon receiving your request, we will:

Permanently delete your profile, voting history, and coin balance.
Remove all voice memos you have sent.
Delete your contact data and friendship connections.
Complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.
